Artist blacksmith Michael Wood and
his wife Deven have recently relocated
to Murphys, California, from Arizona.
Michael's experience in metal work originated in
the river running community. He learned welding
and fabrication skills by building river rafting
equipment. After nearly a decade of welding fabrication,

Michael's interest in metalworking
evolved from fabrication into an artistic focus. In
Arizona, Michael produced works for residences,
businesses, and public art for an historic governmental
building.
